Here at OpenOakland I’ve been kind of pushing for email outreach to community orgs and inviting them to join us for events such as NDoH, CityCamp, and a ClearMyRecord walkthrough we’re doing at the public library.
I believe in outreach because 1) I don’t want to assume everyone is on social media and following us. 2) I figure this is a good way to build relationships and reach outside of our usual networks
Does any other brigade do this and find it to be effective?
