if you’re trying to connect with more govies in your area, here are some resources that might be of help.
If you have other suggestions, let me know. I’m hoping to put together a guide for brigades to make these connections.

• ELGL (Engaging Local Government Leaders)- their membership list isn’t public, but you can search around their website to see if anyone from your city has been interviewed, etc. they also told me you can email their Executive Director to see if they have members in your area kirsten@elgl.org. http://elgl.org/
• GovLoop- their membership list is public. https://www.govloop.com/members/
• ICMA (International City/County Management Association) Student Chapters- get’em while their young, or at least still in school https://members.icma.org/eweb//DynamicPage.aspx?WebCode=studentchapters%20
• YNPN (Young Nonprofit Professionals Network)- if there’s a chapter in your area, it could be a great way to connect with the nonprofit community http://www.ynpn.org/
