Check out the community vision and values!
FYI this link is broken
Here’s what was there: https://web.archive.org/web/20180505132434/https://www.codeforamerica.org/how/values
Links into CfA website content seem to get broken no less than annually Can make it tough to spread the good word
Update: I found the new link and updated the top post: https://www.codeforamerica.org/values
@tdooner how hard would it be to set something up that logs when requests on the CfA site have a referrer and hit 404? I think it would be really good to keep an eye on the top incoming dead links to identify where it makes sense to create a redirector
Not a bad idea. Though, doesn’t Referrer information get lost when going cross-origin using TLS?
Internally, we’re trying to get better at moving all our redirects/permalinks into our CMS so that it can redirect to the new pages. But as you can imagine, we have a lot of redirects from days of yore that are still kicking around in Apache, Nginx, and Varnish configs that all behave in overlapping ways… so we haven’t had a chance to untangle it all yet.
