Community Care: Lunch & Unlearn

Strengthening the practical skills involved in trauma-informed community care often includes dealing with the discomfort that comes with stretching beyond a bias, a belief, or a boundary about the needs of others. Learning to manage discomfort to continue to listen sensitively (instead of reactively) to someone else takes time – and some tools to help figure it all out.

If you’ve got 15-30m this Friday between 2-3:30pm EST, join me in the Pawnee Pub where I’ll have some self-guided kits that helps us unpack, unlearn, and get unstuck when it comes to practicing trauma-informed principles in the Network.

If you can’t make it, don’t worry – there’ll be more in the future! I’ll also make sure the kits are available for anyone who wants to do it on their own time.
