**Description:** Making government services work in the digital age involves a lot of different stakeholders at a lot of different levels. Discover how Code for America is working to establish and nurture state, federal, policy, and community partnerships to ensure that the best practices and learnings can be scaled effectively. You’ll walk away from this hands-on workshop (led by GetCalFresh’s partnership lead, Caitlin Docker) with tips on how to apply partnership building and stakeholder mapping in your own community.

This may require a new category - something like “Complementary and Competing Civic Tech Efforts.”

- Example - March 7, 2019 Webinar on Automating Voter Address Updates - [https://www.techandciviclife.org/news/webinar-automating-address-updates](https://www.techandciviclife.org/news/webinar-automating-address-updates)

- The wider work on databases of elected officials at federal, state and local levels - [https://www.techandciviclife.org/civic-data/governance-project](https://www.techandciviclife.org/civic-data/governance-project)

- Ballot Data Collection - The most basic question ballot information answers are “Who is on my ballot?” (candidates) and “What are they running for?” (contests). [https://www.techandciviclife.org/ballot-data-collection-faqs](https://www.techandciviclife.org/ballot-data-collection-faqs)
All from this nonprofit: Center for Technology and Civic Life (Chicago mailing address) [https://www.techandciviclife.org/](https://www.techandciviclife.org/)

Could this be complementary to CFA staff developers or brigade projects? Competitive?
Worth your discussion and sharing of “what and who else is out there”
