Hyperledger is an open source collaborative effort created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies. It is a global collaboration, hosted by The Linux Foundation, including leaders in finance, banking, internet of things, supply chains, manufacturing, and technology.

At Code for America 2018 Summit, we presented [Using Hyperledger Technologies to Deliver Government Services](https://www.slideshare.net/tkuhrt/code-for-america-2018-using-hyperledger-technologies-to-deliver-government-services). This slide deck provides an overview of blockchain, a sampling of use cases in the public sector that are using blockchain technologies, an introduction into Hyperledger and its different frameworks and tools, provides a demo of the work that the British Columbia government is doing to provide verifiable credentials to organizations, and closes with a number of resources for additional information.
